Happy New Year Everybody!
I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you all the best for the New Year ahead. Regardless of your circumstances, however difficult, I sincerely hope that as we move forward into 2022, these will begin to improve.
In 2021, because of the pandemic, many people have experienced crippling isolation. It’s my sincere wish that, despite the necessary regulations, we will support each other in whatever way is humanly possible, by social media video- or voice-call, regular phone call, by email, or by dropping groceries off the those who are immobile – social supports are crucial in these times. Even a smile or an “Hello” can mean so much to someone who is lonely.
